Drying your biodiesel after water washing is very important. If the biodiesel processor you buy is
equipped with a good heating system then drying should be no problem. Just turn on your pump
and heater remove the lid on your reactor and let the water evaporate. This method on 40 gallons
should take about 2 hours after reaching 130 deg F or so.
If there is no way to heat your biodiesel then you can use a bubbler for a fish aquarium. Buy a small
one and take the stone and drop it in your biodiesel and turn it on. This method could take up to 12
hours to dry your biodiesel.
If you don't have a bubbler or a heater then you can remove the lid and recirculate the biodiesel.
The idea here is expose it to over 80 deg F. The biodiesel should dry eventually, but because air
temp and humidity could vary it is hard to determine this length of time.
not sure how long
Your biodiesel should be transparent when dry.
